Book Review – “The Great American Depression” by Murray Rothbard | InfoMoney

In 1963, Murray Rothbard took on the mission of telling his version of the Great Depression of 1929. At that time, Keynesianism and related schools already enjoyed enormous prominence after having supposedly solved the problem created by the laissez-faire that prevailed in the first decades of the twentieth century. Rothbard's work represented a potent counterpoint to the perception that what "capitalism did, the government solved".
